2007 ATLANTIC COAST TOURNAMENT SERIES & SKINS


DIVISIONS:
(CLASSIFICATION WILL BE ENFORCED - CHEATING TEAMS WILL LOSE ALL POINTS, CASH PRIZES AND BE EJECTED)

  • 5-Player Open - Any Player (minimum age 10).
  • 3-Player Rookie - Players with ZERO tournament experience.
  • 3-Player Novice – Players with LESS than THREE years tournament experience.
  • 3-Player Young Guns - Age 10 through 16 with proof of birthday.
  • SKINS – Open, 2-on-2 or Maverick, double elimination cash game immediately following ACTS games; minimum $15 per player “buy-in”, 1st place takes 80% of the pot.

ENTRY FEES (incl air):

  • Open - $265
  • Rookie/Novice - $165
  • Young Guns - $125
  • SKINS - $15 min. per player

PAYOUT:

  • 5-Player – Cash based on $125 per team split 60% - 1st, 40% - 2nd, and medals to 3rd.
  • 3-Player R/N – Cash based on $75 per team split 60% - 1st, 40% - 2nd, and medals to 3rd.
  • Young Guns - Certificate for free entry to next event - 1st, SKINS and medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
  • SKINS – 1st place takes 80% of cash buy-in pot


Final Championship – Cash & prize package! Teams must play every ACTS event to qualify for final prizes.

The ACTS uses modified NPPL rules (click here for rules).

Format = 6 game w/top 4 teams going to 3-game finals. Classification is STANDARD using ACTS ID database checked against other databases. ID required. Prelims silent – cheering allowed in finals. Placement points awarded; host field teams referee their own event receiving an average of points for their home event.

ACTS: Register 1 week advance or pay $50 late fee, cut-off = 5PM Sunday PRIOR TO EVENT. “Hold” with card & pay cash at event (no checks). BYOP ok. ACTS ID REGISTRATION REQUIRED OF EVERY PLAYER & ALTERNATE. Cost=$3.00. No ID = 0 score.

Rule changes for 2007:

  • Any color clothing allowed as long as it is NOT confusing with REFEREE shirts.
  • No RED fill paint. Staining, neon, or iodine enhanced fills are NOT allowed.
  • No clear hoppers. Smoke hoppers are OK & NO stickers except one on each side no larger than 2”x2”.

SKINS REGIONALS: Membership is required to qualify to enter Regional events. Points posting cut-off is 1 month prior to each event. Players may play at any SKINS game anywhere to establish membership & rankings points.
