Starting in 2005, the ACTS series will be using a modified version of the NPPL rulebook for all tournament play. Please visit the NPPL website at www.nppl.tv (click on rules) to view the most current version of the unmodified rules.
Please
PRINT and READ the rulebook! It is the responsibility of participating
teams to understand the rules - no exceptions.
The
tournament producer wishes to stress the following:
- NO
RED FILL PAINT. STAINING, NEON, OR IODINE-ENHANCED FILLS
ARE NOT ALLOWED (2007 RULE CHANGE).
- NO
MASK MODIFICATIONS (studs, etc.) INCLUDING "ROLLUPS".
- NO
UNAUTHORIZED PADDING ON UNIFORMS OR EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING
TANKS.
- MARKERS
WILL BE CHECKED FOR MECHANICAL AND ELECTRONIC BOUNCE AS
WELL AS "RAMPING". ONE TRIGGER PULL = ONE SHOT.
- DOUBLE
ACTION TRIGGERS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED.
- ANY
COLOR CLOTHING ALLOWED AS LONG AS IT IS NOT CONFUSING WITH
REFEREE SHIRTS. (2007 RULE CHANGE)
- NO
CLEAR (SEE-THROUGH) HOPPERS. SMOKE HOPPERS ARE OK AND NO
STICKERS EXCEPT ONE ON EACH SIDE NO LARGER THAN 2"
X 2" (2007 RULE CHANGE).
- RAMPING RULES - THE FIRST 3 SHOTS MUST BE SEMI-AUTO MODE ONLY. MARKERS
WILL BE LIMITED TO A RATE OF FIRE OF 13 BALLS PER SECOND DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:
NO TWO CONSECUTIVE SHOTS MAY BE SHORTER THAN 75 MILLISECONDS APART. (A
READING ON ROF METER OF 13.3 BPS OR LESS = LEGAL. A READING ON ROF METER
OF 13.4 BPS OR HIGHER = ILLEGAL.) MARKERS MUST BE SET IN LINEAR RAMP STYLE
ONLY (ex. PSP mode). NO TURBO OR ANY OTHER STYLE OF RAMPING ALLOWED.
